Students told to have passion and vision to succeed.

Kiriba Day secondary School principal Mr George Olang' Ondiala has asked students to have passion and vision for their lives.

" Let students figure out what they intend to be or where they wish to be in the next four or ten years," Ondiala said.

He went on:" If you want to travel from Nairobi to Nakuru, and you do not have an ideal of which road to take ,what will you use? You will use a map . The same with the passion that students must have in order to have a bright future,"

He encouraged learners to avoid issues that may obstruct them from achieving their goals.
Mr Ondiala said for the students to enjoy studies they must have a conducive environment.

"People who have passion for what they do , usually excel. If they do not really care, then it's going to be extremely difficult for them to achieve their dream," Ondiala said.

He said it would be very difficult to break a world record if you do not have that mental strength or think everything is impossible.

He said students fail because they lack teamwork and cooperation in class with their teachers.

"Teamwork has been associated with the success in life. We should all embrace it. Study in groups. This way, what you learn from sharing will stick in your brain forever," he said.

The principal said giving back to the community is also important and the more students share, the more they get.

"There is nothing wrong when you share. In fact there are many benefits when you give back to the community," he said.
